Giant cheeses and interpretive dance.

By thebrownebarista

I cant say that I had much to do with the building of Seven Seeds, other than visiting after I finished work in Little Bourke street and standing around looking nervous at the vast amounts of space. Toby was the man that did most of the hard yards, you could tell by those weird dark stains on his arms that were apparently lacquer. Sure Toby.
What I did do though, was record the brilliant party times had by most on Friday at the little shindig MD and Bridge threw.

Here he is!

Bowen.

Seven Seeds.

Toby and Bridget.

Thea, Lisa, Russ.

Kate, Sarah and MD.

Justin and Kiki.

Bobo hit the BBQ, Kiki hit the dishwasher and Russ and J-town performed the evenings entertainment with some awe-inspiring interpretive dance moves. My favorite was the water kettle latte art pour into the mouth.

J-Town and Russ.

Juggle.

Really we didn’t pay them to do it, it was all gratis!

We managed to get through a mind boggling amount of cheese, light up some pungent Dominican cigars and break a few wine glasses. All in all, a triumphant success.

We’ve been open since Tuesday and its been an amazing week. The Hydra is proposing marriage to our espresso blend, the uni kids are loving it and my lunch has never been more delicious or been made with more love.

Its a little bit like going back in time, but leaping right into the future. Its nice to have a new place to hang the hat. Kudos to the dudes for rocking it out so hard.
